PSYCHONAUTS
It's quite oldschool and it even got updated to support today's high resolutions (the cutscenes are laughably low-res compared to in-game) and steam achievements. And the game is good.

uhhh so charlie we have a very active and on topic video game megathread and you can very well post these video game related topics in there. it isnt a rule but it strikes me as odd that you wouldnt go and do that. more people will open that thread than this one.

having one thread for video games is, i believe, a lot of the reason things have gone so quiet. when you have one thread, it becomes full of in jokes and discussion that is completely impenetrable to anyone unless they read over x amount of pages to catch up, which they won't.

we can still have them, we have spawned some of our own memes, SD4L and no asshole being just two, but we need to keep some of the forum understandable to oursiders

tylers was a good pick. also, the genre is just 3D platformer, if you wanna look into it yourself. The cartoony 3D platforming genre hasn't been very active lately, so i'd honestly recommend just emulating some older games. a good throwback that's coming out is A Hat in Time, which is in early access with an Alpha out. It looks to be worth keeping an eye on.

yeah i had both crash bandicoot and spyro on my laptop in emulator form but wanted to see if there was anything else out there before redownloading it all.

what the dickens are you talking about
the thread doesnt get posted in because it doesnt get content all the time. it would have gotten more content over the past few days if you had posted these threads there... and what outsiders. do you have some kind of early onset dementia?

you dont need to read every page, you just open the latest one and go "oh theyre talking about ____ i can weigh in" or you say "well i will say _____ and they can respond to that or to the previous topic". it has been working out just fine for 200+ pages

ok whatever. it seemed from the other thread that some people wanted some change around here, anything just to get it going a bit more, wether that be a new structure of forums or more members or whatever. I'm just trying to shake things up just a little bit. because whats happening right now is the equivalent of standing in the kitchen going "huh, i've been staring at these eggs for half an hour now and they do not appear to have been scrambled. maybe i should stare at them for another hour and see what happens."
I said in the other thread, "if you want change, you can't ridicule the person attempting to make it"
