or pretty much for the first time. i stopped at the goblet of fire (my mom would read it to me before i'd go to bed :3 ) and didn't get into any of the books or movies that followed it. recently i had a friend go on a rant about how amazing the books are and how the writing and story telling matures with the reader. can anyone confirm? at the time of me writing this, i'm almost done chamber of secrets. it's definitely more interesting than the philosopher's stone, but i'm annoyed at how bland and simple everything is.
does the writing pick up with the story telling in terms of maturity? like after/during the goblet of fire does it stop seeming so obviously like a kids book? i'd like to see the books turn all gritty n shit. i know people start dying near the end but i dunno.

yes, but i heard it becomes less of a children's series. hence me mentioning how my friend told me the writing matured with the reader. BASICALLY what i'm asking is if you guys agree or not

Secondly the books do get or try to get more complex because she starts to have more popularity and she has more experience each year since that was like her first experience writing a novel so it will obviously get better if only by practice?

I've never read them cuz reading's for nerds but I know quite a few people who really enjoy them. One friend of mine occasionally re-reads the series

there are children's books with better writing than these first two books. obviously i know it's a children's book you asshat. i say in my first post i know it's a children's book. i would literally have to be a child to not realize it was a children's book. it really seems like you didn't process my first post very well and are trying to be funny and throw something in my face that i already stated i know and is not what i was asking in the first place.
