I just saw Edge of Tomorrow and it's very good! Interesting story, characters, good script and action and shit.
Xmen and Guardians of the Galaxy were good too
Captain America 2 was surprisingly decent and much better than the first but who cares
Planet of the Apes was aiight
22 Jump Street was a good comedy
Aint even heard of Birdman maybe I should check that out

Dumb and Dumber To was entertaining. I enjoyed myself. You can't go in with high expectations though, you'll just end up disappointed. It's worth a watch if you liked the first movie.
Grand Budapest hotel was fun to watch. I like the way Wes Anderson makes his films and the recurring actors that play in them. Haven't not enjoyed any of his full length stuff yet.
The third hobbit movie was alright I guess.
I think that's all I saw for new movies

I didn't have a good year when it came to seeing movies. I used to go the theatre twice a week but I can barely make it once a month anymore. Makes me sad to be honest. And there were and still are, movies I want to see.
Can't keep up anymore with thy current state of things in my life.
I really want to see Birdman though

i don't remember wanting to watch so many movies from these past years, i've mostly been going a lot back in time, but this one seem to have been a good one both on tv and cinema

I was going to defend Grand Budapest Hotel but looks like that's covered
Instead I'll just toss in Lego Movie, it was da bomb
The last movie I saw last year was Hobbit and I regret it
I just recalled I saw Princess Kaguya (the last Studio Ghibli film) and while the style was interesting it was almost as underwhelming (but still good!) as The Wind Rises

The hobbit movies were good I think but entirely forgettable in the long run
just a bunch of zany CGI action and elf-based melodrama

Interstellar looks dumb as shit. grand budapest hotel was pretty bad. was that 2014? Snowpiercer is hilarious. Train circles the globe after earth freezes, big class struggle. Ed Harris, etc. Very good. So dumb. Very good. I disagree entirely, everything in it was good. The movie was aesthetically pleasing, the story and characters were interesting (though it took a bit to get into, like all wes anderson films). It wasn't his best work but it still was my favorite of 2014. yeah, his aesthetic is irritating to me. just not for me, i guess. wes anderson is really hit or miss imo. enjoyed moonrise kingdom and the stop motion one though.
