yeah mobas make me rage and hots is no different really yeah this. league makes me want to pull my billy-goating hair out sometimes, which is really weird because I'm not that type of person. I play other competitive games like csgo a ton and I never get that mad.

so ive been playing tomb raider
highly recommend
game plays very nicely and has that tomb raider feel to it. the story is kinda meh, i was more fond of shiny-hungry lara croft than this cardboard mary sue. but where it lacks in character it gains in gameplay twice over. it feels like a tomb raider game, the puzzles aren't boring (though easy) and the pacing is good. shooting is good too. rn im at the shore tryin to start a boat and the game slowed a bit, which is a con, another con is that there's a little bit of a fetching quest vibe to the collectibles (get 10 of these for bonus artwork!) and that's meh, but at the same time it's what tomb raider was about - spending hours finding annoyingly hidden buttons
i know the more recent ones fell in quality, they say, but this one is stellar
also acquiring the batman: arkham series, will report back when i load up the first

Finally started Xenoblade Chronicles X aw j'eah
Character creation is less variable than expected, I hope I didn't miss some option to change body (besides just growing/shrinking) types somewhere

Xenoblade Chronicles X update #2
The text is SUPER small; I have to drag my chair closer to the TV to play this game
I don't know how to remove clothing in the game, maybe you can only swap them, so I can't see my characters naked, that sucks

Xenoblade X #3
I wish I could swap the ZR and B buttons. The 'B' prompt in the first Xenoblade was easier to react to because my finger's always on the trigger on the wiimote. In this game the 'B' button is pressed by my thumb, which is usually busy on one of the other buttons or analog stick
Also I tried out multiplayer. I found a monster that was a target for all players to hunt, but I was too low-level to kill it. So I sent a message out on thr monster's location, and then someone responded "on it" a few seconds later, which gave me a big chubby

ok i got xenoblade as well and boy does it help to read the manual. they really dont explain shit to you
once i started to understand combat, the game got really fun. youre right that everything is so tiny. theres a lot of unnecessary graphic and lines on top of that. the game is like monster hunter + mass effect.
questions: which division did you pick, does it really matter, and also what the hell are the icons in the hexagons out in the world? some look like people shaking hands, some have like... a monster head on them? are those the "type" of quest in that square?
also why the hell are the hexagons like, stretched. theyre not rotationally symmetric

ok i got xenoblade as well and boy does it help to read the manual. Yeah I downloaded the pdf onto my iphone A division gives you rewards when you do certain things. I picked Pathfinder, so I explore and install probes as much as possible to get the most rewards I can. You can change divisions anytime for a fee. You get rewards/change divisions in the Barracks. I think you can find those icons with descriptions in the manual. When you install a probe, it scans the surrounding segments and those icons appear. For example, the monster head means that there is a tyrant (boss monster) in the segment. When you kill the tyrant, the segment is "cleared". The shaking hands means there is an affinity mission in the segment. You got me there.

Tempest, Matterialize and I have been playing Victor Vran - in brief, it's a well-done Diablo clone.
The combat feels very satisfying, though in terms of depth it might get stale. Instead of different classes, you're all just Victor, who can wear different outfits to get different ways of increasing your "overdrive meter" which is a big special attack or buff that you can allocate with Demon Powers.
The weapons all have their own special attacks, and we're only at level 20 but have seen a few new ones pop up from time to time. You can have a sword, a shotgun, a hammer, a scythe, a lightning gun, a magic tome, a rapier, a mortar cannon... and that's just what we've found so far.
Tempest found the first legendary, a scythe, and what's cool about legendary weapons in Victor Vran is they level up with you, so that they're never "outdated" or replaced quickly.
There's a transmog system for your gear, but it only works for equipment of that same quality or higher. That means if you want to buff up a rare weapon, you need rare materials. Same for Legendary. There's recipes for specific stats to upgrade, so blindly transmogrifying will screw you over.
As far as we know there's no inventory limit, so you don't have to be scrutinizing with your pickups.
The battlefield and dungeon maps all have different challenges and secrets, all with bonus rewards for completing them, like gear, gold and XP. The game has a wall jump mechanic that really lends to the size and cleverness of the map design, and really helps keep things from feeling flat.
So far, Victor Vran is a lot of fun. It's 20 bucks normally, but wait for a sale.

victor vran is pretty cool, it's definitely a good little diablo clone. it feels kind of like Torchlight felt for me; it's a bit more gonzo than Diablo I think, you are just thrashing shit from level 1 and there's only been one particularly difficult part
it definitely embraces the 'billy-goat shit up constantly' mentality, as opposed to being a difficult game, and i think that's good.
