for you plebs secret hitler it's like a revamped version of the village and the wolf game. i ran a couple of those back in the old forum it was fun

I've watched a few people play secret hitler, Total Biscuit often streams it too. I don't really get it.
I do however play a game called "mafia" which is kinda similar. Say you have 10 people, three people are mafia. the group must decide who they think is mafia and lynch them before the mafia kill all of the town. Game is divided into day and night phases, during the day you talk with the group and decide who to lynch, by night, the mafia kill one person.
The game has specialist roles too, so, the medic can protect someone from being killed (but not lynched), the parity cop can check the alignment of two players to see if their the same, (though they won't find out who is what still, just if they are both town, both mafia or opposite) and the vigilante can has one bullet that they can use to kill one person as they see fit.
