i agree that though trump is of course a worse/more wrong/stupider person, hillary in a political sense is capable of more damage through the same underhanded maneuvers she has been guilty of for thirty years
trump is an idiot and people already really hate him for good reason, if people thought it was hard for obama to get things done imagine what trump could even do. i also believe sincerely, with some regrettable cynicism, that the man simply wants to be president but doesnt actually care what he does once he is there and therefore whatever scary things he says will amount to nothing

the same could be said about every candidate because we don't know what any of these billy-goating whack jobs are going to do when they get in power

yeah i think i agree with the latter part of your point, and should trump win the presidency (*shudder*) i expect nothing from DC to change, but its slightly terrifying to think that the mouthbreathers supporting him now will feel even more empowered and will take brazen actions of a likely racist/xenophobic/homophobic/overall bigoted nature
FWIW, a good friend said something that struck a chord with me recently... he openly said he was voting for trump and when looked at him dumbfounded and said "Really? Why??" his response was "Dude, don't you want to see the end of the world?"

i don't want bernie to be president because im a good person with a conscience that doesn't appreciate manipulation and lies. i don't want cruz to be president because of his murder spree in california in the late 60s and early 70s

Why??" his response was "Dude, don't you want to see the end of the world?" good point. though there's a bit of a mouthbreather following to clinton as well, from what i can see, the sort of blind social justice reformists who are blind to data and are purported to be doing much more harm than good though i am hugely sceptical of the latter (such as the campus censorship debates, I believe the whole thing to be grossly overstated, and contemporary media is too biased and self-serving to be read without a bucket of salt) I definitely see it in shillary clinton. wide speculation of course, but she seems the kinda person to increase state control under the guise of progressive politics, like they did in the uk with the massivee increase in female prison population "for their well-being" but yeah, i was meaning trump by himself, i hadn't considered the feeling of validation by the inbred hordes of the deep south
