390,000?!?! What and the billy-goat? I love the first two and I know programming and art and animating and sound and everything else is a lot of work but that really is absurd. I see he's worked on metalocolypse but the other two I've not even heard of. Sure we would love to work on our own stuff full time and get paid, I know I would! But to ask for that amount of cash is just nutty. Work hard and help working man.
I mean shit, project nexus 2 only asked for 56k and those guys have done a lot more than he has. Especially the Swain and Jose Ortiz(mind chamber) who I think they were able to bring on. Not mention the other guys involved.

Unfortunately every hour of work on Project Nexus creates so much more content than every hour of work on Johnny Rocketfingers

Behold my completely accurate calculations
Hmmm there are 11 people on the team and according to the pie chart they get paid $199,200
That'd make the average pay about $18,109
Assuming each worked for $10/hour (probably), that'd be about 1,810 hours of work
Assuming each worked a normal 9-5 per day, that'd be about 226 work days.
Excluding weekends, that'd be maybe a year to finish the first episode. Including weekends, maybe 7.5 months.

If I had 1,810 hours to work on an animation single-handedly, from this reference point (which took 13 hours, rounded down) in theory I'd be able to produce one TV-length cartoon (about 21 minutes). No dialogue or colour, only pencil lines, however.

Unfortunately every hour of work on Project Nexus creates so much more content than every hour of work on Johnny Rocketfingers You do have a point there, being more people and all but there are plenty of content creators who get by

No I mean for each hour per one person
Give person A the job of animating a guy in Nexus and person B the job of animating a guy in JR, person A will be able to make a hundred times more stuff
