It's a compilation of a bunch of different popular voices who are outspoken atheists. After watching 25+ minutes of it, I'm certain these people are not understanding of Jewish view of mans relationship with his creator. I mean, it makes sense in all the Christian stuff I heard growing up, but now that I've actually been studying and living this stuff, it's a whole different talk.
There's a part where Joe Rogan says we don't know all the ancient hebrew words, but that's not true. We know the translation of the Torah, of the Talmud, and the important texts. It's no mystery to us.
BTW, I'm not discrediting anything these guys are saying. They just aren't talking about the Omeness I know of.
If anything, this is what God is to Jews and you can see how vastly different the two descriptions are.

This thread reminds me of a passage in the Torah as interpreted by Rabbi Schmabbi and this is how I understand the subject of this thread: "For the three dark wizards did look down upon the valley of North Colorado and lo! The revelation of the Seven Unholy Seas of Unbecoming, named in order Blem, Skem, Trem, Grem, Flem, Yem and Isabel. It was then that the truth were to be told, a smell beyond creation and death." So if Gd created the smell, I_Smell therefore I acknowledge the existance of Gd. It's all there in a library somewhere around Jerusalem, you guys really should learn more about judaism before passing judgements of that slanderous nature.

As someone who doesn't believe in a conventional religion and is rather reasonable on the issue, these guys are pretty billy-goating inconsiderate and making a stereotype out of every religious person. But, then again, religion threads suck, so that's my input.

Also, if you were to do a cultural anthropological assessment of Jewish life versus conventional christian American life, you'd see a stark contrast between the two modalities.
