And again, blaming consumers for falling for marketting tactics isn't gonna get us anywhere and sounds a lot like blaming the victims

And again, blaming consumers for falling for marketting tactics isn't gonna get us anywhere and sounds a lot like blaming the victims and treating people like they aren't aware of what they are buying is patronizing so we're at a bit of an impass here arent we be that as it may hastag culture is consumer culture so solving overpriced women products - if they are overpriced - with a hastag movement is ridiculous and since you cant or shouldnt have government forcing brands to pull down prices to levels "equal to men's products" and companies will laugh at the mere suggestion of dropping prices when the goods are selling fine as they are it either is a matter of taxing and then you can campaign for the government to change it or it's not and then you either buy different stuff or you overthrow capitalism. now one of these two is more attainable in the short-term than the other

I thought at the time that a company actually trying a "no bullshit" policy was pretty new, as far as I knew

personally though the whole .99 thing makes me angry and i tend to not buy sth priced that way just because of that, or i'll just ignore it and read it as the price that it really is
