pleasant crap
ive been playing legend of grimrock, a first person, tile-y old school RPG. it's really fun and the puzzles are challenging and not insulting (press the button to open the door.. wooooww!!)
i really recommend it if you miss old style rpgs, it's a weird type of manual combat and really well made. i have the sequel but i didnt start it yet
also xenoblade chronicles x i have played a tiny bit. reminds me of mass effect + monster hunter. i didnt play the first, apparently people are disappointed with how different this one is but i have no preconceptions so i am okay. i like the exploring-a-new-planet thing A LOT. it's fun
question: do you do the microtransaction thing

I have bought extra story levels for mass effect 1/2/3, bioshock 1/2/infinite, and fire emblem awakening. I have also bought tracks for mario kart 8.
I would not buy cards for hearthstone or skins for any game. I have not bought any characters for smash manssieres., and since they're supposed to be wrapping up DLC development I hope they package everything into one set. But I'd prefer not to buy skins (i.e. Mii costumes).
Still playing Xenoblade X

I've spent a lot of money on hearthstone. But it's really the only game I play still.

I'm still playing Fallout 4
I completed most of the game except Minutemen but now I've started a new STR/CHR profile to do those and settlements
The Survival dfficulty mode isn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be glass cannon gameplay and maybe have survival mechanics but it's just another Very Hard: enemies have more health and do more damage. Takes like 10 shots to kill a bloatfly and I have to make my companion tank all the shit. So that's a bit of a letdown but it's playing okay.
I'm considering disabling carry limits. It just adds tedious management to the game, and you gotta go home for a dump after every building you clear. It's not like carrying 27 rifles is realistic anyway so why not carry whatever I want.

It's pretty fun, haven't beaten it though. In fact it's been a while since I played it. It did take me a bit to get used to the combat. Have you done of any the custom scenarios for it

No jon, I'm still playing through the main game but I really wanna check out the extra stuff and make puzzles of my own
This is a weird thing to try and describe, but legend of grimrock has such a great design due to its simplicity and how grounded it is. There are very few "okay that is too obvious" moments, very few "okay how the billy-goat am I supposed to have known that?" moments, and when you accidentally solve a puzzle, there is usually a secret to be found by REALLY understanding a puzzle and solving it in a different way.
The game does a fantastic job of establishing the "rules", and will pace itself accordingly when making new rules. A reason I want to make more levels is because I really feel like I get those rules and in playing the game, problem solving had me coming up with potential solutions that didn't work but gave me ideas for what COULD work. When a game, or anything, knows it's medium well enough it can then transcend that and start to play with it and the game does that well
My micro transaction purchases: two $20 stash tab bundles in path of exile, a $30 supporter pack which included stash tabs in path of exile, and Pokémon cards for the online tcg. I think that is all

binding of isaac, grinding those unlocks before i take on lost and the new kid
came back to heroes of the storm, mostly because riot is a nauseating company and i feel dirty playing league even though it's the superior game, also no i wont spend the next 25 years of my life learning dota
but yeah hots is still not that exciting of a game
started playingg batman arkham asylum, it's neat but i dont think ill get back on it. they say arkham city is actually worth playing through, idk

i heard riot got bought out recently. cant remember who though. billy-goat dota. maybne i should give heroes a whirl, but i really dont want to download another billy-goating game.i need to finish assassin's creed 3 just becasue i played the ones before it. even though i dont care about the series that much anymore since they pump them out like every year now. plus the subject 16 element was my favorite part of the series and that ended with revelations
