i think religion is sort of like a handgun, fundamentally it really isn't harming anyone. no matter how you look at it, they're just words. it's people with their conviction and willingness to sacrifice themselves for others that creates a violent world. everyone's perspective is justified in their own eyes, even the psycho people. it's up to humanity as a rational collective to decide which of these perspectives are beneficial to the advancement of the human race. religion could, in the right hands, further a ton of shit, but the extremely fast advancement of our scientific minds puts science and religion at odds in some cases. truthfully though, the two have coexisted for thousands of years we're still where we are despite claims that "religion holds us back"

issac newton believed in a monotheistic god and believed it was his spiritual duty to understand as much of that god's creation as possible, and because of that we now have calculus

i think there are probably multiple dimensions and a bunch of levels of reality that we simply can't comprehend, so adhering to any rules set forth by another human, just as flawed as myself, is just utterly irrational. but at the same time, i don't argue against the ideas of people because they had different experiences than myself and are justified in their opinions because of that

fundamental forces of nature stars and see answer 1 nature you say? that's great! The name of God, Elohai/Eloheim/Eloheinu is exactly that force. There is another name of god, the 4 letter name, some christians call it Jehovah, which is when god interferes in the world and performs the supernatural, like the exodus of egypt and all that.

and to think that nature is an existing thing that listens to you is so incredibly selfish and assigning way more meaning to your pitiful existence than it will ever have

you're in your early 20's, haven't attended any real schooling for this sort of thing, have never moved away from your nest, and get enraged at the slightest provocation. literally nothing you say could convince anyone you have any larger insight than any of us.
