i disagree, tweek
i think that it's relatively easy to not open the thread if you can't stand it THAT much
that being said, I think it's funny that Walt is so ill but we all expect him to wield that m60. i am curious as to how that works out

the last season was definitely the show at its best, not a bad episode in there

I felt like I was expecting more from the last episode. Something more unexpected.
But the more I think about it the more I think they did it well. It was a great show.

yeah like it wasn't very unpredictable but i dont think thats a bad thing, it felt like a fitting epilogue to the series. we kinda knew how it'd turn out but the execution was great

"wasn't very unpredictable"
you cannot tell me you predicted what was going to happen with gray matter

i 100% predicted who was getting poisoned. I knew there had to be a reason they focused so heavily on that particular character quirk.
I prefer my season finales to be more "wtf oh shit twists" so I was a little disappointed at how linear it was. It almost made it seem too easy. It just seemed like he waltzed(oh snap) in, handled his business and that was that. Considering the amount of variables and shit that could of(and should of) gone wrong it just seemed too neat. I guess they were more focused on wrapping everything up but it almost feels like it could of been stretched over 2 episodes and had more included in it.

1. This whole "so predictable" thing is billy-goatING individualED. So you mean to tell me that a 16 episode story arc with two flash forwards showing a major plot point from the final episode was predictable?! WHAT A billy-goatING SURPRISE. What did you want to happen, he uses the machine gun to invade Russia and launches nukes on Uncle Jacks place?
2. billy-goat twists. Twists work well in movies and they work well as season finales if they lead to a good cliffhanger, they can also work well in miniseries. But I don't want to invest 60 hours into a show for a shitty twist ending that ignores everything else the show's done just for some dumb surprise at the end.
It wasn't a perfect episode and it wasn't the best the show has done, but it was a very satisfying conclusion BECAUSE it played things so safe and it wrapped up every loose end that needed wrapping up. I've seen or heard about so many shows having finales that were just ridiculous and nobody likes them because they tried to do too much or characters had terrible endings or they were completely ambiguous or it wrapped up absolutely nothing and just introduced a load of plot holes or new questions *cough* Lost *cough*

I've seen or heard about so many shows having finales that were just ridiculous and nobody likes them because they tried to do too much or characters had terrible endings or they were completely ambiguous or it wrapped up absolutely nothing and just introduced a load of plot holes or new questions *cough* Lost *cough* the point is that they don't have to wrap everything up. Walt didn't have to win. everything didn't have to end so perfectly on his terms. from start to end pretty much everything went right for him. the way they handled it was good. everything was tied up and that was the end and that was that, but it wasn't really exciting in the way breaking bad can be and usually is. for a show that does everything so right, this last episode felt really safe. no ones saying they had to have all these whacky shit twists that you're pretending they are. just that something more unexpected would have been better. I'd give the episode like a 7.5 or an 8 - which is a great rating. But when it's part of a series with a ton of episodes ranging from 8.5 to 9.5, you hope for a little more from a finale.

that's a dumb question because that's completely against the point of unexpected

Oh
I liked that it left you with some good ideas of how it was going to play out, and then seeing it happen. I really liked that ending. That was a great show.
