in north dakota, you dont even have to be registered to vote, to vote. which is funny
in a third of the states, you need to show your ID when you first register which is sane. in another third or so, you have to show ID as you vote but it doesnt have to have a photo. none of that is really controversial here
in the rest of the states, you have to show a photo ID every time you vote (there are some places where this is waived, wikipedia says "signing an affidavit, having a poll worker vouch for voter, having election officials verify a voter's identity after the vote is cast, or having the voter return an inquiry mailed to their reported address")

ill vote for whoever tells hospitals to stop treating patients in an extremely demeaning and condescending manner the relationship between nurses, the patient, and the hundreds of doctors that come to visit you and ask the same questions is something that needs to be studied by the behavioral science community.

fair enough. they made me wait like two hours until i had to pee to give me a ct scan because apparently "im a lesbian" isn't good enough reason for them to assume im not pregnant or just give me the waiver to sign that i know they have You should have definitely caused a big deal about this and brought it to the higher ups, but there is a reason for needing a full bladder for a CT scan but that is incredibly ridiculous. I have refused many x-rays, ct scans and mris that they demand I have, knowing full well that my insurance isn't going to cover it fully and will cost around $500 to tell me something I already know. The fact that they didn't let you refuse the ct scan is against hospital policy (though it may be different in your hospital? I don't know that sound really billy-goating stupid) and you should have definitely reported the incident.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF SEEING 20 billy-goatING PEOPLE FOR NO billy-goatING REASON AND THEN CHARGING ME AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT THAT ISN'T COVERED BY INSURANCE IT MAKES ME WANT TO MURDER

i was just reading when i made that post that something like 10% of voting adults for some reason dont have ID and, for whatever reason, those 10% of people happen also to be lower class people (probably because you dont necessarily need an ID to be lower class but youd definitely have an ID if you owned a business or something)
so, it discriminates in that way- but at the end of the day i think its up to that 10% to get a god damned ID, if i can do it then any champion individual can do it as well

so you'd thing minorities would hold on to their id with tooth and nail since it's a proof of legitimacy

here in australia we don't need ID. you just go up and say your name (though i think they're expecting you at your suburb and you have to fill out forms to do it elsewhere)
voter fraud is negligible so it'd just be putting up unnecessary barriers to require ID

you cant vote here unless you show id. you are expected to vote on your area aswell but you can also vote elsewhere if you cant makee it, just announce beforehand that you will and show up with id
