i thought he was likable (given the circumstances) in eyes wide shut im halfway through magnolia and he's playing an obnoxious womanizer, yeah he's annoying but that's the part. that's the role. he's playing a scummy dude, whats the complaint? this is directed at narc really How am I complaining I'm saying he's good at being an annoying cunt I didn't say he's bad at it

you know what i watched the other night? Big Trouble in Little China
its a great movie if you go in expecting a cheesy 80's movie with kurt russell spitting one-liners and attempting badassery. about halfway through the film takes a surreal turn and it becomes interesting. Running Man is cool like that too.
i also watched Spaceballs this week for the jillionth time in my life, that movie is pure comedy incarnate

I remember that incredibly slow start to The Deer Hunter
it makes me not want to watch it a second time

i watched heat and it was maybe 75% good, there were too much stupid shit with Al Pacino's family which was incredibly uninteresting because wow a cop who works too much and it effects his family, never seen that before!

I never said I didn't like it. It was a fantastic movie. The hour of character development was too much for me though.

watched John Dies at The End last night
it had some cool parts and the plot itself was interesting, but i felt like it left something to be desired. imo they could've added another 30-60 minutes onto it and finished it off better, but it was an overall fun watch. prob won't put it on again anytime soon tho tbh
and as far as The Deer Hunter, would i like it if i dont know anything about guns or hunting? i'll watch almost anything at least once

I made fun of that movie but if I have to be honest I loved it it's one of those movies that are good because they're so bad
