did u see elysium it touched on a lot of social issues and i found it fully okay ha, oddly enough i did and i thought that movie was awful some of the designs were cool and obviously matt damon is a good actor and all but jesus christ that movie was the most ham-handed thing in the world and i wasnt even bothered by district 9's "point" (i actually REALLY liked district 9). i was already bummed about having to see it instead of choosing to so i think my opinion may be too extreme but that was so terrible to watch

it was very heavy with its message yeah but i thought it was important enough to give it a pass on it but being forced to watch something is a good way to start out with an already negative opinion so i feel u

i watched cape fear & eraserhead cape fear is not the kind of movie i like (horror, thriller, whatever) but it was still very good. i got frustrated with it a lot but i understand that you need to suspend your disbelief for a bit and also the plot specifically relies on you being frustrated in favor of the protagonist. here is a cool shot from cape feari liked eraserhead a lot but that's predictable because it was weird and unsettling so i liked that. i didnt watch it all at once even, i stopped half way through to go to bed but i dont think that messed up my viewing experience too much. i think everyone who would likes to piece together a strange puzzle should see it because that was really fun and interesting. here is a cool shot of plumber bill, hiding his knees from view.

The Simpsons episode cape feare is one of my favourites. It's the one where sideshow bob sends threatening letters to Bart so the Simpsons are put in the witness relocation program.
They live on a boat and bob can't stop stepping on rakes! Very funny.

1) it was the de niro one obviously (hence my link depicting the movie, which is obviously not the peck/mitchum one) also the reason i am watching it was for scorsese so that was an odd question
2) ive seen that simpsons ep and i remember it being p good. i havent seen even 1 episode of the simpsons in YEARS but when i did watch it i probably saw every episode up to some point

didn't click on the picture or remember the OP. MY BAD. anyway, I didn't like it too much for the reasons you mentioned. I didn't feel bad for him because you know, he's a twisted weirdo. and you said in so many words that it's unrealistic, and it definitely is. found myself rolling my eyes quite a bit.

Slothman insisted Bob was singing "Pirates of Penzance" and I kept saying "nuh uh" and he kept going on that he was Haha what a stupid
